What's the difference between PowAir and generic Air Fresheners?
Unlike air fresheners that only mask odours, PowAir actually eliminates odours. Our proprietary blend of natural high quality plant based essential oils neutralise odours at a molecular level. We do not use any toxic or harsh chemicals, use PowAir to eliminate any unhealthy odours and enjoy your life.
Is PowAir safe?
Oh yes! PowAir products do not contain any toxic or dangerous ingredients. We are very proud to have a natural formula that actually works and is safe to use around your family and your pets.
Does PowAir work on all types of odours?
Yes, household odours do not compare in intensity or volume to the industrial and commercial odour problems our formula was initially designed to eliminate. You can rest assured that PowAir eliminates all the odour problems you have at home or work including bathroom, pet, garbage, smoke and kitchen odours just to name a few.
Do PowAir Pets test on animals?
No! None of our products are tested on animals. Due to the nature of the ingredients in our products, we are not required to carry out formula laboratory testing. We have therefore chosen not to do so because we strongly believe that such tests are cruel and inhumane.
Are your products safe for birds?
We are aware that birds have extremely sensitive nasal and lung cavities.
PowAir can be used in the same room safely but the owner should be alert to any changes in behaviour that may indicate their pet is having an allergic/sensitivity reaction.
Our products contain no chemicals or toxic ingredients; ingredients that you will frequently find in commonly used cleaning and air freshener products. In comparison, our products would be much safer.
Are your products safe for aquatic life?
Our neutralisers are intended to evaporate and neutralise odours in the air and therefore using our products in the same room as a fish tank is safe. We recommend our slower releasing products (Gels and Blocks) around reptiles, birds and aquatic life as these products leave less residual scent in the air, as opposed to our misting dome for example.
Is your range safe to use around children and babies?
Yes! We openly advertise as being a family and pet-safe brand due to our natural plant-based formulas; all of our products are non-toxic and are free of harmful chemicals and alcohol, ingredients that you will regularly find in commonly used household items.
We have safety data sheets available for viewing on our website showing that our plant-based essential oils are low level and non-toxic.
Can our spray products be applied directly to dogs?
Whilst we don’t actively promote or recommend our products to be used this way specifically; our products are made up of natural ingredients and as such, we can’t see any reasons as to why they could not be; and we are aware of a number of our customers using our products this way. However, we wouldn’t recommend this as permanent replacement for regular bathing; but rather as a more convenient solution in ‘emergency’ situations. It’s important to add that, like humans, dogs can also suffer from allergies and it would therefore be at the owners’ discretion, taking into consideration any known allergies or sensitivities.
Are all of PowAir's products fragranced?
All of our products – with the exception of our enzymatic formulas – are scented.
Passion Fruit and Apple Crumble are the ‘sweetest’ of the fragrances, with Tropical Breeze being more neutral.
As our products are odour neutralisers, they are activated when odour molecules are detected and this is when the scent will be most prevalent; dissipating over time resulting in a ‘neutral’ odour.
Moreover, we are often confused with air fresheners but we are actually quite different. Air fresheners are masking agents and as such, are usually very strongly scented to hide bad odours.
Our products are true odour neutralisers and work to eliminate odours that are present within the home, as opposed to masking them.
Can any of your products be used on hardwood floor to eliminate pet urine smell?
Yes! We recommend our Urine & Odour product which uses a powerful microbial enzyme to successfully break down organic odours. Simply spray the product onto the affected area and leave to absorb/dry naturally. This product can be used on both hard flooring, carpets, artificial grass and soft furnishings to name a few.
Are your products fabric safe and if so which would be the best one to choose?
We have a product specifically designed for this – Urine & Odour.
This enzymatic based formula will break down and remove urine and other organic odours at ease and can be used on carpets, upholstery, soft furnishings and hard floorings.
Simply spray onto the affected area and leave to absorb. Depending on the severity and age of the odours, more than one application may be required for optimal results.
Which products are best for tackling smoke odours?
We recommend our Misting Dome/ Liquid product which pumps a steady stream of mist into the area, eliminating bad odours.
Portable, it can be easily moved from room to room and the timed settings provide the user with maximum control over their home odour management.
The unit will turn itself off after the chosen time elapses, and/or when the liquid chamber is empty.
Furthermore, the liquid can also be diluted with water, based on your own preference, providing further flexibility in terms of product strength.
Can I use PowAir Pet Products on Artificial Grass?
Our Urine & Odour product can be used on artificial grass. We recommend washing the area down first with water to minimise the amount of neutraliser required. For increased dispersion of the product, you could use a pressurised garden sprayer, ensuring to adjust the nozzle to the highest possible setting to prevent any damage to the enzymes.
Do your products permanently destroy odours in the home or only whilst you use them?
Our products are true odour eliminators and will destroy any bad odour molecules that are present.
Where bad odours are repetitious – and where the source of the odour cannot be removed – our products would need to be used on an on-going basis.
For example –
If you have a rodent under a floorboard, our products would work to eliminate the resulting bad odours.
However, if you were to stop using our products but the rodent remained, then the bad odours would return as the source of the odour has not been removed.
With that being said, there are many odours that arise within the home where the source cannot be removed. For example, pet odours, cooking odours, smoking odours.

What is the best product for pet urine?
Use PowAir Urine & Odour, it has a dual-action formula that contains our proprietary blend of natural essential oils, and an innovative high performance range of natural microbial enzymes specifically designed to eliminate urine odours trapped in materials. It also eliminates pheromones that encourage pets to continually mark an area and it helps minimise any potential staining.
Urine & Odour will also eliminate all organic based odours such as: urine, perspiration, vomit, faeces, blood, grease, mildew, smoke, and musty odours that are trapped in porous or solid materials such as cloth, furniture, carpet, wood or concrete. It works, we guarantee it!
Does the Urine & Odour stop marking?
Yes! Urine & Odour’s high performance microbial enzymes eliminate the pheromones in urine to help prevent pets from repeatedly urinating and marking selected spots in or around your home.
Do you supply anything to get rid of dog urine smell outdoors on patio/driveways?
Yes! We recommend our enzymatic based Urine & Odour product which will completely break down and eliminate urine and other organic odours.
This product can be used on both porous and non-porous materials, including concrete/patios/tiles/wood etc. Simply spray and leave to absorb – any leftover residue can be later removed.
What is the difference between the 464ml Penetrator and the 250ml Spray?
Both products are designed to be sprayed onto surfaces and materials; however, our 250ml fine mist Spray does not include our innovative high performance range of natural microbial enzymes that Penetrator has for eliminating urine odours. Non the less, PowAir Spray can be used to eliminate odours both in the air and odours trapped on surfaces and materials. Penetrator on the other hand is not intended for treating odours in the air and uses a high volume sprayer for soaking materials faster. Both are very effective and easy to use.
What are the gel crystals?
The gel crystals are ‘super absorbent polymers’ which are non-toxic. They are designed to absorb and hold liquid, allowing the moisture to evaporate slowly from the container to combat ongoing odour problems.
How does PowAir Gel work?
PowAir Gel relies on evaporation to transport its odour neutralising molecules into the air to attract and bond with odour molecules so it can neutralise and eliminate those unwanted odours. You may not be able to control the rate of odours but you can easily control the evaporation rate of PowAir Gel to effectively eliminate those odours.
Several factors such as airflow, temperature, humidity and the amount of Gel exposed to the air will affect the rate of evaporation. Evaporation rates also vary as each of these conditions change from time to time. For example: hotter temperatures, lower humidity and increased airflow increase the rate of evaporation while lower temperatures and higher humidity decrease the rate of evaporation.
The science of PowAir has been proven successful over 22 years. So, if you are using PowAir Gel and you still smell an odour, you simply need to increase the rate of evaporation because there are more “odour” molecules in the air than there are odour neutraliser molecules.
How long does PowAir Pets 400g Gel last?
Under ideal household conditions; they can last 30 – 60 days each. The answer varies because the product works by way of evaporation. There are environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and airflow that are different in every home which affect the rate of evaporation and how long the products will last. We cannot accurately predict these variables in every application so we can only offer you an estimated range of time that has been consistent over the years.

Can I get FREE shipping on my order?
Orders over £35 qualify for FREE economy delivery*! We endeavour to dispatch all orders same day, please allow up to 3 working days for delivery. All orders received after 14.30 will be processed the next day.
***FREE delivery to UK mainland only.
Do PowAir Pets offer next day delivery?
PowAir also offers a Next Day Delivery service at £7.00 and it will take between 1-2 working days to receive you order (Mon-Fri before 13.30) Please note if requests are made for deliveries to be left unattended we cannot be held responsible for any loss of parcels.

How long do I have to return my parcel?
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a 14 days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
Will I be refunded my shipping cost?
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
